It doesn't snow often in San Diego. When it does many head north from the 8 into Julian and Mt. Laguna. Crowds and icy roads can be miserable. On the last day of 2014, we decided to head south into the Celveland National Forest and Pinos Mountain. No crowds and epic views.
The sun setting on 2014. The view from Pinos is expansive. In the top right corner of the horizon you can see the sun reflecting off the Pacific Ocean.
